Congratulations to Dr. Anna Zamora-Kapoor, assistant professor, for receiving the Alzheimer’s Association Research Grant.
Her research will be one of the first studies to clarify whether obstructive sleep apnea is associated with cognitive impairment in American Indians. If there are ties, the results will encourage interventions to prevent and treat obstructive sleep apnea, to delay and reduce the prevalence of cognitive impairment in this population.
