Congratulations to second-year medical student Maria Jones who will present at the Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP)’s National Conference.
This will be the 50th Anniversary for the AAIP, and the theme this year is “Optimizing American Indian and Alaska Native Health: Implementing our Tribal Nation Sovereignty.”
Maria will head to Washington, DC in July to present her abstract on “Depression Prevention in Native American Adults: A Literature Review.”
We’re looking forward to her presentation, and seeing our students continue to impact the future of native healthcare and beyond.
