Lonika Sood accepted into the AMA’s Health Systems Science Scholars program

Lonika Sood

Congratulations to Lonika Sood, MD, Clinical Education Director for Internal Medicine, who has been accepted into the 2022-2023 cohort for the American Medical Association (AMA) Health Systems Science Scholars program.

About the program:

The AMA created the Health Systems Science Scholars program to cultivate a national community of medical educators and health care leaders who will drive the necessary transformation to achieve the Triple Aim: improved patient experience, improved health populations, and reduced cost of care. In addition to providing faculty development and curricular resources, the program serves as a community that advances the field through curricular implementation and research development.

We’re excited to see Sood represent the College of Medicine in this important endeavor!
