MD Student Published in Ophthalmology Case Report

Nicholas Raudovich

Third-year WSU College of Medicine student Nicholas Radulovich has been published in the Annals of Plastic Surgery. Radulovich collaborated with Kevin Michels, MD, an ophthalmologist at Northwest Eyelid and Orbital Specialists in Spokane on a case study involving a patient with floppy eyelid syndrome.

“This was an amazing opportunity to work with a local physician and faculty member on this project for the medical scholarship course,” said Radulovich. “It allowed me to develop a deeper interest in ophthalmology and further my understanding of the scientific publication process.”

The review paper is titled Severe Upper Lid Fornix Prolapse After a Ptosis Repair in Floppy Eyelid Syndrome.
