The student-led Health Equity Circle at the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine was recently featured on the Spokane radio program, This Won’t Hurt a Bit.

The show airs on Sunday mornings on KYRS, Thin Air Community Radio. Each week the hosts interview guests from all over the medical field to learn more about how the health care system works and how we as a community can make it better.

On Sunday, Dec. 3, the hosts interviewed Health Equity Circle lead organizers, Sarah Goh and Nikki Delgado, both second-year medical students, and Luis Manriquez, MD, community health equity director.

The Health Equity Circle is an inter-professional organization that brings students together across programs and universities. HEC focuses on health equity issues on campus and in the community, and how to act through community organizing.
