Final Call for Applications: CIPHERS Educational Scholars Program

The Collaboration for InterProfessional Health Education Research & Scholarship (CIPHERS) initiative at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine is thrilled to announce the third offering of its Education Scholars Program (ESP). The longitudinal faculty development program is oriented to WSU health professions faculty and those with affiliate appointments who want to deepen their understanding of learning theory as it informs practice and apply these concepts to developing skills in education scholarship.

Eligibility

The ESP is open to all WSU health professions faculty from all campus locations OR healthcare professionals with a WSU faculty appointment. Individuals with teaching responsibilities who anticipate career paths dedicated to teaching, leadership, and scholarship in health professions education are encouraged to apply, as well as faculty who teach in clinical settings and/or residency-affiliated faculty.

Schedule and Format

Scholars will participate in nine, 3.5-hour synchronous sessions from October 2024 – May 2025. The sessions will be presented in a hybrid format to accommodate in-person and virtual attendance.
