Office of Faculty Development hosts: Reflective Writing for the Health Sciences

This session will review the role of reflective writing as a pedagogical tool in medical student education, particularly in regard to the development of identity formation and a sense of self for medical students. In addition, the session will discuss strategies and best practices for instructors to respond to medical students’ reflective writing with an emphasis on the importance of thoughtful, specific feedback in supporting the pedagogical goals of reflective writing in medical student education.
