Funding Priorities
Dean’s Excellence Fund
This allows the Dean to accelerate development of innovative programs, recruit faculty and nimbly respond to opportunities that align with the college’s mission.
Research Excellence Fund
Health care is rapidly changing, and the needs of our communities are greater than ever before. This fund allows our research team to boldy pursue solutions to the complex health challenges we see across our communities.
Student Scholarship Fund
Every one of our MD students have proven alignment with our mission. Many of them are non-traditional students. Your investment supports their success and ensures we retain the brightest and most committed future physician leaders to address our greatest health care challenges.
Nutrition And Exercise Physiology Excellence Fund
With your gift to the Nutrition and Exercise Physiology Excellence Fund, you will advance research and educational programming that boldly addresses our built and food environment challenges to create healthy communities and individuals. Your donation directly supports scholarships for future health care leaders, innovative research, equipment, and leading-edge programming.
Speech & Hearing Sciences Excellence Fund
When you give to the Speech and Hearing Sciences Excellence Fund, you are directly addressing the shortage of speech-language pathologists across our state. With your donation, you are investing in scholarships for future providers, leading-edge research to inform the latest care, and innovative educational programming and equipment to develop our next generation of providers.
Graduate Medical Education
Residency programs play a vital role in addressing physician shortages, especially in rural and underserved areas. With your investment, we will build more residency programs – in fields that match the needs of our communities across WA.
Dr. Elson S. Floyd Medical Education Founder’s Fund
This fund honors the legacy of the college’s founder and WSU President (2007-2015) and provides the college the fundamental support to excel.
Regional Dean’s Excellence Fund
During their third and fourth year, our students are distributed to regional campuses across the state. From here, they frequently travel to learn, care and research the surrounding communities. With your investment, each campus can meet the educational, travel and research needs of our students.
Get to Know Our Donors
We are thankful to our donors, who empower our college to fulfill our mission.
Other Ways to Partner
Community Hosting and Homestay Program
We are looking for families and individuals in the local communities of Everett, Spokane, the Tri-Cities, and Vancouver who would be willing to host a student during the six clinical campus weeks from September through April for two years.
Willed Body Program
The donation of one’s body after death is a thoughtful and unique contribution to the education of future health care providers – a generous gift for which our students and faculty are deeply grateful.
