Additional Info

Dr. Devarakonda is the director of Thoracic Medical Oncology at Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI), Seattle, WA. He is board certified in Medical Oncology. He  completed his training from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (Wash U) and worked as an Associate Professor at Wash U before moving to SCI in 2023. He is a translational researcher with an interest in cancer genomics, and has worked with consortia such as at TCGA and LACE-Bio II. He has several research publications to his credit.

His research is focused on understanding cancers utilizing sequencing technologies. He is particularly interested in understanding the molecular underpinnings of never-smoker lung cancer and mechanisms of treatment resistance in thoracic malignancies.
