Dr. Helbling teaches in the preclerkship medical school curriculum where she serves as Thread Director for histology, Assistant Thread Director for anatomy and a facilitator for case based learning. She also mentors a number of students in educational scholarship and her research is focused on learning resource evaluation, ethical perspectives of youth anatomy outreach programs, and three-dimensional technology use for anatomy education.
