Additional Info
What inspired you to pursue medicine?
My journey into medicine was driven by a deep interest in human physiology, a desire to address health disparities—particularly within refugee communities—and a commitment to preserving the human connection at the heart of healthcare.
What do you enjoy most about practicing in the Snohomish County and Everett area?
I truly value the diversity of the patient population and the strong sense of community here. Practicing in the Pacific Northwest is a privilege—especially during the summer, when the natural beauty of the region really shines.
What are your passions and hobbies outside of work?
I love to explore—whether that means discovering a new country, trying unfamiliar foods, or getting into the mountains. If I haven’t been there yet, I want to go. I’m also an avid Seattle sports fan— I’m still hoping for the return of the Sonics.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in medicine?
With my love for travel, I’ve often thought I’d enjoy being a pilot. I also have a deep respect for the camaraderie and service of the fire department—it’s another role where teamwork and impact go hand-in-hand.
