The WSU College of Medicine’s website gets a fresh look as part of WSU’s new modernized branding initiative. The 8-month-long process of moving and redesigning more than 250 pages is complete. With over 50,000 views to our website per month, it was important to get user feedback before the rebuild. The site’s navigation and flow were determined with the help of feedback from faculty, staff, and students collected during user testing last fall. Some of the new features include:
- Advanced search options that allow users to search within the College of Medicine site or within the full WSU website system.
- An integrated Faculty and Staff Directory with Colleagues, a program designed by MedTech.
- Updated content and navigation to emphasizes the user-experience of prospective student and program admissions.
- Refreshed About section intended to tell a more complete story of the college, allowing donors and community members to stay updated on the latest programs and stories.
- Introduced an enhanced research presence, with plans to continue this process throughout the next year.
