Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine faculty Lonika Sood, MBBS, MHPE, FACP, and Jamie Kennel, PhD, MAS, authored an invited commentary on health disparities in emergency medical care in JAMA Network Open.
The commentary discusses new research on the association between transports of patients experiencing an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and the socioeconomic status of the neighborhood where the arrest occurred.
