Health Sciences Library Tip: Research Exchange

Laptop and a stethoscope that has a WSU logo, sitting on a desk.

Are you seeking a way to share research products—either stand-alone items or supplementary materials—such as posters, small datasets, survey instruments, or conference papers?

Depositing these materials in Washington State University’s institutional repository, Research Exchange, provides a persistent URL, supports citation and scholarly impact, and ensures discoverability through academic search tools such as Google Scholar.

To submit materials, visit rex.libraries.wsu.edu, sign in using your WSU Network ID and password, and select “Add Content.” During submission, you will be prompted to identify the material type and provide required metadata, including title, authors, keywords, description, and DOI (if previously assigned). All submitted materials must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.

Please allow time for WSU Libraries staff to review and publish your submission in Research Exchange. Items will be assigned a DOI unless one already exists. The maximum file size is 200 GB per dataset.

Interested in a researcher profile or have questions about submitting? Contact libraries.research@wsu.edu or visit the WSU Libraries Research Exchange page. You can also learn more at Research Exchange FAQ.
