AAMC Career Advising Tools Workshop

This session is hosted by the Office for Faculty Affairs and Continuing Professional Development.
The AAMC offers several tools for students to assess their interests and motivations that promote personal reflection and specialty decision making through its Careers in Medicine website. This session, presented by Tina Lindquist, PhD, will provide an overview of these tools, an opportunity to take the assessments yourself, and discussion of how you could incorporate them into discussions with students as they consider their options in the medical field. We’ll also highlight how the tools intersect with WSU’s Career Advising Program where faculty and staff can help promote career exploration through casual conversations with students.
This session is intended for College of Medicine faculty and staff only.
