Research Funding Opportunity: Undergraduate Research Awards

A person wearing a white lab coat and blue gloves is seated at a laboratory workstation. The workstation includes a biosafety cabinet with a teal-colored hood, two containers of red liquid, a clear container with tubing, a small tray, and several labeled strips. The background shows a beige wall and part of the cabinet’s control panel.

Applications are open for Washington State University’s Office of Research undergraduate research awards and grants. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.

Awards for the following academic year are available to students in all majors and on all campuses who are engaged in mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities. Some fellowships may be funded from more than one source.

Students applying for awards should carefully review information on all available awards to check for eligibility requirements. For example, some of the awards are intended for students working in specific academic areas, some are intended for students at certain academic levels, some have GPA requirements, etc.
