Creating High-Yield Board Review Sessions: A Faculty Playbook

This workshop will equip educators to create high-impact, system-based review sessions for MS-2 students entering their final pre-clerkship term. Faculty will learn strategies for using a question-driven, discussion-rich format to integrate basic science and clinical reasoning, reinforce high-yield concepts, and model effective exam-taking approaches. Through hands-on practice, participants will design a 90-minute session built around 10–15 board-style questions, structured to maximize engagement, retrieval practice, cross-disciplinary connections, and learner confidence as students transition toward Step 1 preparation and clerkship readiness.
