Match season is underway at the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine! Fourth-year medical student Chantelle Roberts has matched into the Urology Residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center during the field’s early, highly competitive match.
“Urology is a perfect blend of continuity of care and surgery,” Roberts said. “The speciality is innovative and dynamic, with the unique opportunity to manage complex disease process while making needed change that impact everyday functioning for a patient.”
In addition to Roberts, four future Coug Docs from the Class of 2026 placed into residency programs through the Military Match in December.
The majority of the class will learn where they will continue their training on the general Match Day on March 20. Stay tuned to see the next step in their journey towards become independently practicing physicians!
