Becker’s Hospital Review Recognizes TriState Health, New WSU Residency

The entrance features a covered drop-off area with a sign reading “TriState Health P1FCU Inpatient Wing.” An American flag is mounted on a tall pole near the entrance, and landscaped plants line the walkway in front of the building.

Becker’s Hospital Review recognized TriState Health on its list of 100 critical access hospitals to know, highlighting the Clarkston-based hospital’s impact on the Inland Northwest and hopes to create a new family medicine residency in partnership with the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.

Based in Clarkson, the potential residency program would expand opportunities for hands-on rural medicine training and help alleviate eastern Washington’s critical physician shortage by bringing more doctors to local communities.
