This event is hosted by the Office for Faculty Affairs and Continuing Professional Development in collaboration with Tina Lindquist, PhD, Assistant Dean for Student Programs in the Office of Student Experience.
Medical students hit predictable “critical junctions” across the academic year, moments where competing demands and hidden stressors can quickly lead to overload. In this session, faculty and staff will be introduced to the AAMC Holistic Student Support Framework and the “Critical Junctions” roadmap as a practical tool to better understand those pressure points. Participants will learn simple, actionable strategies to reduce cognitive load and minimize unintended impact, especially during last-minute changes. Join this session for a quick, practical way to better support students at the moments that matter most.
This session is intended for College of Medicine faculty and staff only.
