The Chronicle highlighted the Arbor Health Randle Clinic and Travis Podbilski, DO, for being recognized with a Teaching Impact Award at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s 2026 Community Connections Showcase.

“Dr. Podbilski encouraged me to have a deeper understanding of the pathophysiology and gave insightful tips on practice management,” medical student Razan Ali told the Lewis County newspaper. “He tailored his teaching approach to my particular interests, allowing me to get hands-on with procedures. The clinic staff were all very friendly and encouraged student involvement.”

The Community Connections Showcase celebrates fourth-year medical students and clinical partners across Washington who are working together to improve health outcomes through projects in the MD program’s Rural and Urban Underserved Medicine course.
