This session presented by Lisa Burch-Windrem, EdD, MEd, will provide an overview from a 2024 qualitative action research study on the lived experiences of student affairs professionals working in medical education who assist medical students in distress that led to experiences in compassion fatigue. Outcomes of the study will shape this faculty development session in helping College of Medicine faculty and staff learn about compassion fatigue, be able to identity when they or their colleagues are experiencing it, as well as discuss steps we as individuals and as an organization can address the effects of compassion fatigue.

This live session is hosted in TalentLMS, our new LMS system. Although you will be registering in a new place, our process for sending out calendar invites will remain the same.
