Domestic Violence in Healthcare

Representatives from Mujeres in Action will be presenting on how healthcare professionals can support victims/survivors of domestic violence with a focus on cultural competence and trauma informed care. Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees! Students, faculty, and practicing healthcare professionals are invited to attend.
Mujeres in Action is a local Spokane organization dedicated to supporting victims/survivors of domestic violence in the Latine community. They offer a variety of free, confidential, and bilingual services including medical advocacy, counseling, legal advocacy, and youth outreach.
