Learning Experience and Design

The Learning Experience and Design (LEAD) unit promotes positive student learning experiences and continuous quality improvement by helping our faculty translate their knowledge and expertise into effective teaching resources and learning spaces.

We offer assistance with educational technology, instructional design, digital learning materials, and more to support the MD program’s digital curriculum.

Our team also collaborates with staff to optimize processes and leverage technology to improve efficacy and foster a successful work environment.

What We Offer

We support teaching, learning, and academic operations through:

  • Education Technology: The LEAD unit administers all teaching and learning resources for the MD program, including classroom spaces.
  • Digital Publishing: Our team translates faculty-created materials into a digital format to create an effective and engaging digital curriculum.
  • Training and Documentation: We support the effective use of educational tools and technology through trainings, guides, and other resources.
  • Instructional Design: We promote teaching best practices to improve the student learning experience and learning outcomes.
  • Project Management: Our team coordinates instructional project planning with the Medical Education unit.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement: We support improvements in instruction and other workflows through evidence-based frameworks.
