Paal Nilssen represents at the first Triennial International Orthopedic Trauma Association meeting

Third-year medical student Paal Nilssen presented his research at the first Triennial International Orthopedic Trauma Association in Amsterdam.

His collaborative research with his mentors at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center began when he interned in the summer of 2021.

Their team found that total hip replacements may provide an opportunity to improve early post-operative mobility and reduce reoperation rates in older adults following acetabular fractures who are undergoing surgery.
