CME provisional accreditation

CME

The Continuing Medical Education program received Provisional Accreditation effective on March 27.

Provisional Accreditation is a two-year term awarded to initial applicants that demonstrate compliance with the ACCME’s core accreditation criteria: Mission, Educational Needs, Designed to Change, Analyzes Change, and Program Analysis. The ACCME reached this decision following the September 2022 site visit. The next ACCME decision is anticipated in spring 2025.

This is an exciting next step for continuing education at WSU and for health professionals throughout our region. We hope to make our CME offerings closely tied to our mission: to solve problems in challenging health care environments across the state of Washington.

Please reach out to Radha Nandagopal, MD, Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Continuing Education, if you’d like to learn more or to develop your CME-accredited programs with the college.
