IREACH Joins the College of Medicine

INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION TO ADVANCE COMMUNITY HEALTH

We are pleased to announce that the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health (IREACH) will administratively transition from the WSU Health Sciences into the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, effective immediately. This change aligns with the original plan for IREACH. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to grow IREACH’s mission, scope, and impact state-wide and beyond, as well as further the College of Medicine’s and the College of Nursing’s public healthinitiatives.

Dr. John Roll, Vice Dean for Research for the College of Medicine, will provide administrative oversight over institute operations. Our teams have developed a transition plan that accounts for the operational needs of IREACH. The College of Medicine is excited to welcome IREACH faculty and staff to its team and looks forward to serving our community together.
