The WSU College of Medicine is excited to announce details regarding the spring 2024 commencement ceremony and the week surrounding it.
Graduates in the WSU Health Sciences and WSU Spokane-based programs are invited to participate in an all-inclusive commencement ceremony held at the Spokane Arena on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The joint commencement will provide a unique and unified approach to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of all graduates across disciplines.
Though commencement will be integrative, the College of Medicine understands the importance of commemorating the specialized knowledge and skills our students have acquired throughout their education. As such, the college has organized separate programmatic celebrations to take place during the week of commencement. These celebrations will provide a space for each program within the college to honor specific achievements and experiences.
Students planning for the spring commencement season should refer to their program-specific event information below:
- SHS Undergraduate Program: Friday, May 3, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
- NEP Programs: Thursday, May 9, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
- MD Program: Thursday May 9, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
- SHS Graduate Program: Friday, May 10, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
