The WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine hosted the special guest for an intimate chat with a small group of medical students, faculty, and donors.

College of Medicine faculty and students hosted 35 members of the Air National Guard’s 141st Medical Group for an emergency medical procedures training workshop.

Researchers at WSU Spokane are looking for faculty from the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to participate in small group discussion meetings.

A group of WSU medical students volunteered their time to make sure emergency warming centers were available and safe during the recent dangerously cold weather.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and participate in WSU’s celebration of the National Day of Racial Healing with service activities and events throughout January.

WSU Spokane is partnering with the Range Community Clinic to bring convenient and comprehensive student health services to campus, supported by the student health fee.

As part of a state-supported pilot project, a team of researchers in the WSU colleges of nursing and medicine will spend the next year studying health outcomes at Maddie’s Place, a newly opened, Spokane-based transitional care nursery that provides care and support for drug-exposed babies and moms.

The team at the Office of Technology is trading in keyboards for jingle bells and mouse pads for snowflakes. Please see their schedule for reduced operational hours between Dec. 16 and Jan. 2.

The Office of Technology, Assessment, and Curriculum will be reducing support beginning on Dec. 16 and fully returning on Jan. 2.

The WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine will ring-in the season with Winter Celebration events across the state on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
