Yihan Yang, MD, MHS-MedEd, a core faculty member in the WSU Internal Medicine Residency program in Everett, has been selected as a 2023 Full-Time Faculty Clinician-Educator of the Year by the Washington Chapter of the American College of Physicians. Yang is one of only two people selected this year.
The award honors academic-based internal medicine physicians considered to be a role model by their peers. Criteria include clinical skills, dedication to patients, leadership, humanism, teaching, and mentorship. The American College of Physicians also seeks recipients with a demonstrated enthusiasm for both medical practice and personal interests.
