The WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine will ring-in the season with Winter Celebration events across the state on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Faculty and staff are invited to celebrate another great year of collaboration and service to our communities.
Colleagues statewide are invited to join a virtual get-together at 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 6. This is a chance to connect with colleagues from other campuses. As part of the program, we will share a slideshow of photos highlighting some of our favorite moments from the last year. Upload your year in review photos by Monday, Dec. 4.
Each campus will also host an in-person event. These events allow colleagues to gather socially and complete a community service project. In Spokane, faculty and staff can donate non-perishable food items for a local food bank or wish list donations for Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. For those unable to attend the in-person event, collection boxes for food donations are available at the following locations at WSU Spokane:
- SMED – Third Floor Workroom
- HERB – Third Floor by the Elevators
- HSB – First Floor SHS Staff Office Hallway
Items for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, donated outside of the Winter Celebration event, can be dropped off at Lisa Tyran’s office at SMED 364.
