April Davis, MS, RDN, ACSM-CEP, clinical associate professor in the WSU College of Medicine’s Nutrition and Exercise Physiology department, was selected by a committee of her peers for the Nutrition and Dietetics Educators and Preceptors (NDEP) West Coast Region Outstanding Dietetic Educator Award (ODEA) for 2024. The award recognizes the teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of faculty in dietetics education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Davis will be published in the list of outstanding educators in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She will also receive a certificate and congratulatory letter from the academy president and complimentary registration to the 2024 NDEP Annual Meeting, where she will be presented with her award.
