Recent changes to web browser privacy settings to stop unwanted tracking may affect how often you are required to provide authentication in order to access a site, including online library resources. When using a private browser on campus, you may be asked to log in repeatedly as your browser clears cookies/cache on exit.
OpenAthens is a single sign-on authentication system that protects your privacy and simplifies the login process by working with Okta to connect users to WSU library resources. Users will only need to authenticate to OpenAthens once per 8-hour session.
