Research Funding Opportunity: Tier 3 Community-Engaged Research Seed Grants

A healthcare professional wearing a white lab coat and purple gloves performs a procedure on a patient’s forearm, which is supported by a blue foam wedge on a desk. The desk holds a tablet, tissue box, and various medical supplies.

Applications are open for the WSU Office of Research INSPIRE! Community Engaged Research Seed Grant Program: Tier 3. Notice of intent is due March 22, with proposals due April 15.

The Tier 3 grants support WSU faculty members who have an established community-engaged research program and relationships with communities. The grants are meant to provide seed funding to assist with the creation of a proof of concept or the production of data that would assist in moving the research agenda to a stage to apply for substantial external funding.

Tier 3 funding provides support up to $20,000 for one year and within the following calendar year researchers must apply for external funding.
