Lend a Hand, Give a Can: College of Medicine Food Drive Kicks Off

Assorted non-perishable food items arranged on a light wooden surface, including canned goods, jars of sauces, bottles of oil, bags of pasta, rice, beans, and oats.

Help fight hunger in our community by donating to the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s food drive, running now until December 3.

We’re collecting non-perishable, nutritious food items in Spokane to support Second Harvest Inland Northwest.

High-need Items

  • Canned fish and lean meats
  • Healthy soups and stews
  • Dry or canned beans
  • Whole grain pasta, rice, and cereal
  • Peanut butter and other nut butters

Drop-off Locations

  • Medicine Building (MED)
  • Health Sciences Building (HSB)
  • Student Academic Center (SAC)

The food drive will conclude at the College of Medicine’s annual Winter Celebration in the spirit of the giving season. Every donation makes a difference—thank you for helping nourish our neighbors in need!
