WSU, Spokane Public Schools Launch Logan Family Clinic

A group of three people stands outside a modern clinic building with large windows and a concrete walkway. Two individuals wear white lab coats, and the third is dressed in casual professional clothing with a stethoscope around the neck. The building features gray brick walls, landscaped gravel areas, and an accessible ramp with metal railings.

Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and Spokane Public Schools (SPS) are partnering to create the Logan Family Clinic, a new community-based primary care clinic located inside Logan Elementary School.

Open since March 2, the clinic is intended to increase community access to health care by delivering services right where young people and their families need them most—in our public schools.

“With the Logan Family Clinic, we’re making quality health care easier to reach and closer to home,” said WSU President Betsy Cantwell. “Partnering with Spokane Public Schools allows us to serve families right in their neighborhood, marking an important milestone for WSU and the communities we’re here to support.”

The clinic will be operated by WSU Health, the university’s new academic health network that integrates clinical care, student training, and research across the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The clinic marks WSU’s first university-operated, off-campus health clinic.
