Four medical students represented the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at the 2026 American College of Radiology (ACR) Annual Meeting last month in Washington, D.C., where they shared their research and advocated for important issues in the field to legislators.
Third-year students Anne Onyali, Lauren Lee, Gabrielle Cua, and Harneet Sangha presented their poster, “Complication Management in Interventional Oncology: Mitigation Strategies for Y-90 and TACE.” The presentation was one of only 20 selected for the meeting’s Medical Student Section Poster Showcase.
Later in the week, they joined the Washington State Radiological Society for Capitol Hill Day to speak with legislators about important issues affecting the field of radiology.
