Dr. Elizabeth Cantwell received unanimous approval from members of the WSU Board of Regents during its special meeting Thursday. She will succeed Kirk Schulz as the institution’s 12th president and will be the first female leader in the institution’s 135-year history. Her term as WSU president begins April 1.
WSU’s Vancouver Regional Medical Campus Relocating to Downtown Vancouver
The College of Medicine will occupy space in the 805 Broadway building in downtown Vancouver. The new location is scheduled to open to faculty, staff, medical students, and community physicians as early as this late fall.
Office of Technology Reduced Operational Hours
The team at the Office of Technology is trading in keyboards for jingle bells and mouse pads for snowflakes. Please see their schedule for reduced operational hours between Dec. 16 and Jan. 2.
