Apply

The B.A. Speech and Hearing Sciences program does not have a separate application beyond the WSU application, but requires admittance to the program following completion and approval of the prerequisite coursework, general education requirements, and GPA confirmation. Consultation with an advisor or academic coordinator within the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences should occur as early as possible in academic planning.

Prospective students transitioning from outside WSU who have met the prerequisites must mark Spokane as their preferred locale on the WSU application for consideration of program admittance. Official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities for confirmation of GPA and completion of prerequisite courses must be included as directed on the WSU application.

WSU has a priority deadline of Jan. 31st; however, the Speech and Hearing Sciences department will admit students into the program until July 31st prior to fall semester start in August.

The program admits for fall semester only. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher is required.
