Assessment

The Assessment unit monitors medical student progress toward meeting annual milestones and core competencies, responds to student feedback concerning assessment structure and process, and ensures alignment between instruction and assessment within the MD program curriculum.  

We work closely with the Curriculum unit and faculty on the development and implementation of the curriculum to ensure alignment across all four years of the program and at each medical campus. The team also work closely with the Office of Student Experience to support students’ growth and development in all six core competencies.  

Additionally, the team responds to student feedback and works with student leadership to continuously improve and innovate within program assessment methods and processes.
