Congratulations to admissions members Lynn Howard and Keith Klauss, MPA, who will share their abstracts at the Western Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (WAAHP) conference in May.
Collectively, the two had four abstracts accepted:
- Resisting Student Complacency in Recruitment/Advising Processes of Guaranteed Acceptance Programs (Lynn and Keith)
- The Community College Pathway: A Critical Link to Achieving Mission and Diversifying the Physician Workforce (Lynn in collaboration with colleagues from UC Davis School of Medicine, UC Riverside, University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine)
- Medical School Selection Factors: Advisor and Applicant Perspectives on the Role of Mission (Lynn in collaboration with colleagues working on a national initiative including Leila, from University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, University of Florida College of Medicine, The Ohio State University, Washington University School of Medicine)
- An Admissions Process that is Dismantling the Empire (Lynn and Keith)
