The Interprofessional Education steering committee is seeking 7-8 volunteers to participate as standardized patients for an IPE microaggression simulation developed by Dr. Skye McKennon. It will include AT, SHS, PharmD, MD, BSN, and DNP students.
Date: Wednesday, October 18
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Zoom
Experience needed: None! We seek participants who are interested in assisting health science students hone their skills through simulated discussions on how to respond once a microaggression has occurred.
Support provided to Volunteers: Standardized patient training and materials will be provided prior to the event. A structured response tool and script are included.
