WSU Residents Selected as AOA Scholars

Tony Huynh and Suk-Lin Zhou, Internal Medicine Residency

Two WSU College of Medicine internal medicine residents have been selected as the 2024 American Osteopathic Association (AOA) DO Day scholars. Congratulations to Tony Huynh, DO, and Suk-Lin Zhou, DO!

The AOA Bureau of Emerging Leaders awards scholarships to two outstanding resident osteopathic physicians each year to attend DO Day on Capitol Hill to advance their advocacy skills and meet with legislators in our nation’s capital. Huynh and Zhou will meet face-to-face with members of Congress April 17-18 to talk about legislation vital to the osteopathic medical community.

This is the first time in AOA’s history to have both scholars come from the same residency program, making it quite an honor for WSU’s Internal Medical Residency Program.
