Scholarships

Scholarship awards in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine MD program are based on financial need and alignment with the college mission.

You must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at the Federal Student Aid website to be eligible for a scholarship award offer as an accepted applicant in the incoming class. The priority deadline to submit a FAFSA is January 31 of your matriculating year. The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine uses Washington State University’s FAFSA school code, which is 003800

While not required, students may submit a FAFSA by November 30 in subsequent years if their financial situation changes or if they missed the deadline in the prior year. Parental information is not required but encouraged for accepted applicants/students whose parents are expected to provide financial support.

Estimated Cost of Attendance

Information about your estimated cost of attendance is available on the WSU Student Financial Services website. Once on the page, select “Spokane” for the campus and “medical” for the career path.
