The following resources are housed in the  WSU Spokane Student Affairs Office, which is located on the first  floor of the Student Academic Center (SAC) at WSU Spokane.

Student Counseling Services

Confidential student counseling is available through WSU Spokane’s Student Counseling Services. Counseling services provide a safe and confidential space to help students explore the challenges of life and being a medical student. Information about how to make an appointment is available on the WSU Spokane Student Counseling Services website.

All MD students pay the Spokane health fee, which covers in-person and remote personal counseling, no matter the regional clinical campus location. No additional counseling costs should be applied when utilizing this important campus service.

WSU Spokane Student Counseling Services also operates the WSU Student Care Network, which allows anyone to share concerns about a student’s emotional or psychological well-being, physical health, or academic performance with counselors who can help. Notices of concern can be made by completing the Request for Student Care and Support.
