WSU students from across the health sciences lent a hand at last Saturday’s community health fair, a collaboration between WSU Spokane and the Spokane Public Library.
The event offers a variety of free services and resources to community members, including vaccinations, blood glucose testing, and education on an array of health topics.
“We are just thrilled to be able to connect the community and the students,” Juan Juan Moses, Spokane Public Library community educator, told the newspaper. “It’s a win-win for everybody.”
Students from the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences provided information about how to protect your hearing and offered preliminary hearing screenings.
