The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s inaugural Staff Council meeting has been moved to Kirk H. Schulz Academic Center (SAC) Room 147 to accommodate attendee interest.
The meeting will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, at 10:00 a.m. both in person and virtually via Zoom. Register for the event to receive the Zoom link.
The Staff Council is the representative body for WSU College of Medicine staff of all classifications and at all campuses. It was created to foster an inclusive space where staff are heard, valued, celebrated, and empowered to influence positive change within the organization.
The first meeting will provide an opportunity for staff to get to know members of the Staff Council Executive Committee and to learn more about the body’s purpose and vision from guest leadership Dean James M. Record, MD, JD, FACP, and Craig Fischer, senior director of organizational leadership and development.
