Timeline
The BS NEP program starts in the fall semester only. We highly recommend that you apply early.
Beginning in January, applicants will be notified of admission status on a rolling basis, as reviews are completed. The final date applications will be accepted is July 1.
How to Apply
Required Materials Include:
- WSU application for admission – if transferring from a community college or other university
- Declaration of Intent – if currently attending another WSU campus
- Personal Statement – applicants will be invited to submit the Personal Statement once transcripts have been reviewed to determine overall and BS NEP prerequisite GPA requirements are met.
- Tips for writing the Personal Statement – Please introduce yourself and your reasons for applying to the WSU BS NEP degree. Approximately 250-500 words.
- Share your career goals.
- Discuss your characteristics that will make you an effective nutrition and exercise professional.
- Feel free to add other relevant information. This may include your experience as a student athlete, personal exercise and nutrition habits, work and/or volunteer experience, leadership roles, etc.
- Tips for writing the Personal Statement – Please introduce yourself and your reasons for applying to the WSU BS NEP degree. Approximately 250-500 words.
