Admissions Seminar

The Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s Admissions Seminar aims to provide application guidance and information to current undergraduate or other applicants who are interested in applying or reapplying to our medical school.

Information will be provided at the seminar for opportunities to schedule Mock Interviews with WSU College of Medicine Admissions staff at a later date.

  • Choosing the Right Medical School: Understanding the application process, timeline, and professionalism.
  • Crafting a Competitive Application: Strategies for first-time and reapplying candidates.
  • Applying to the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine: A comprehensive look at our college’s admissions process including deadlines, requirements and pre-requisite coursework.

Tentative Schedule

  • 8:50–9:00 a.m.: Welcome
  • 9:00–11:10 a.m.: Admissions and Application Presentations
  • 11:10 a.m.–12:20 p.m.: Q&A with the Admissions Team
