Student Crisis Resources

If you or someone you know is in crisis:                          

  • If you believe you or anyone else is in imminent danger, call 911.
  • During business hours, please call 509-358-7533 to reach WSU Spokane Student Counseling Services.
  • After business hours, on a holiday, or on weekends, call 509-368-6500 to reach the WSU Spokane Crisis Line.

The Student Care Network addresses counseling/crisis management. Faculty, staff, and students are urged to call campus security at 509-358-7995 for events involving acts or threats of violence, urgent safety concerns, possession of weapons on campus, imminent threats of suicide, and medical emergencies.

The college asks that all faculty, staff, and students report behavior that threatens the student’s own safety or the safety of others or raise concern about impairment or an inability to function in educational or clinical settings (e.g., drug and alcohol use and/or erratic behavior) by submitting a College of Medicine Incident Card.
